Ruth is the technical director of CAF4G in South Africa and Nigeria. She is currently a Software Engineer Intern at; January 2017 – to date. Only having started a career in Software Engineering, she is still building up herself within her career; with aspirations to be a full-stack developer in the next three years.  In this quest for experience and growth, CAF4G foundation is one of the means I could  give back to my community.

  • She holds a Bachelor of Science Information Technology in Information and Knowledge Systems and a Bachelor of Science Honours in Computer Science (with distinction), both obtained in 2015 and 2016 respectively from the University of Pretoria.
  • She is an eager learner in the field of technology and has a desire to impart what she has learned to young people, who may not have been afforded exposure to what the field of technology has to offer.
  • Assistant Lecturer, at the Computer Science Dept., University of Pretoria, the module she lectured is Net-centric Computing from January 2016 – June 2016.
  • Tutored, Concurrent Systems at the Computer Science dept., University of Pretoria from  July 2016 – October 2016.
  • Ruth was also a STARS Mentor – for School of Information Technology, Engineering, Built Environment and Information Technology (EBIT) Faculty University of Pretoria; 2014
